We’re so excited to spend the whole weekend celebrating together! There’s plenty to do in Kanab, so come early, explore, and make a weekend out of it. Be sure to check out the “Things To Do” tab on for ideas and recommendations!
Best Friends RV Site | 6:00–9:00 PM
We’ll kick off the weekend with heavy apps, drinks, and a few speeches at the Best Friends RV Site.
Attire: Casual — but bring a layer! It can get chilly once the sun goes down.
Dogs: Please leave dogs at the hotel or your campsite for this part of the weekend, the hotel has a built in area for pets so they will be comfortable. If you need to bring them, please keep them on the leash.
Transportation
We’ll have a shuttle running between the Best Friends Roadhouse and the RV Site.
5:30 PM — First shuttle departs the Roadhouse
5:45 PM — First shuttle arrives at the RV Site
6:00 PM — Second shuttle departs the Roadhouse
6:15 PM — Second shuttle arrives at the RV Site
8:15 PM — First shuttle departs the RV Site for town
8:45 PM — Final shuttle departs the RV Site for town
If you’d rather drive yourself, that’s totally fine! There will be limited parking available at the RV Site. If you are alright taking the shuttle, that will help us manage the limited parking.
Keep the Night Going
Once you’re back in town, Adria’s will be open for anyone who wants to keep the party going. They’ve got food, drinks, and games, so feel free to head over and hang out!
Sunday Morning — Hike
Lynn Peek will lead a short hike on Sunday morning starting at 9:00 AM.
Everyone is welcome to join! Meet at 8:30 at the Best Friends Roadhouse, the hike will be nearby, but may involve carpooling to the trailhead. We can have a shorter hike and a longer hike. More details announced at the welcome party!
Attire: Desert chic — think comfort over fashion. A layer for when the sun goes down is a must, and comfortable shoes are highly recommended. The entire venue is grass!
Dogs: Please leave dogs at the hotel or your campsite.
4:30 PM — Ceremony
The ceremony will be followed by dinner, drinks, and dancing.
There is no parking at the Sanctuary, so all guests will need to take a shuttle to the venue.
Shuttles will depart from the Best Friends Roadhouse and Mercantile, with transportation from the RV Site for campers.
Shuttle Schedule
3:00 PM — First shuttle departs the Roadhouse
3:15 PM — First shuttle arrives at the RV Site and begins transporting guests to the venue. Two vans will continuously shuttle guests from the RV Site to the venue. We will have a cooler ready for you!
3:30 PM — Second shuttle departs the Roadhouse
3:45 PM — Second shuttle arrives at the RV Site and joins the vans transporting guests to the venue.
4:00 PM — All guests should be at the venue
This gives everyone a little wiggle room to get settled before the ceremony begins at 4:30 PM.
If you are on a bus from the hotel, they are not able to drive on dirt roads so you will be dropped at the RV park and a van will take you from there to the venue.
Please plan to be ready and waiting at your designated pickup location at least 5 minutes before your shuttle departure time.
Heading Home
Shuttles will begin taking guests from the venue back to the Roadhouse or RV Site at 8:00 PM. The last pick up will be at 10:00PM
Afterparty
For those who aren’t ready to call it a night, we’ll keep things going with a silent disco at the RV Site. (Thanks, noise ordinance!)
And there may or may not be a mechanical bull. 🤠 Vans will start transporting back to the hotel at 11:30.
12:30 AM — Final shuttle to the hotel, so plan accordingly!
